HSEL Newsletter: Week 7
There are only two weeks left in the regular season for the 2023 HSEL Spring Major!
Here is everything you need to know to close out the regular season.
The makeup days are fast approaching – the first being this Saturday! Makeup days work like regular matches: queue up at the designated time to receive a match. You can find the full makeup schedule here.
Please note that if a player/roster has already played eight matches, they cannot use the makeup queues!
Playoff Information and Timeline
ICYMI: We announced all Spring Major playoff information in our last newsletter.
Please feel free to refer to it here! We will build the playoffs according to the following timeline:
3/31: Final makeup matches.
Please remember that all match disputes must be submitted within 24 hours to be considered before seeding.
4/3: We will begin ruling on final match disputes and converting unplayed matches into losses.
4/3 - 4/6: Playoff brackets will be seeded game-by-game as the previous item is completed.
Leaderboard standings and playoff brackets should only be considered final once you receive an email confirmation.
We'll inform you via this email address if your students qualify for playoffs and post on social media once all brackets are complete!
Join our Education team – or better yet, tell your principal to join us – Tuesday, March 21st, at 5:30 ET to hear from administrators about how they implemented esports in their districts and the benefits they see in students! Then, next week, join us on Tuesday, March 28th, at 5:30 ET for a webinar on Coaching Esports!

Are your students on the hunt to participate in HSEL Nationals?
We will welcome qualifying players from Rocket League, Valorant, and Brawlhalla to join us for a LAN in Kansas City, Missouri, in May! All other titles, except League of Legends and Rainbow 6: Siege on console, will experience an online event.
Everything to know for Nationals can be found here!
