SEASON OVERVIEW
FALL 2023
Returning as the longest-running, largest scholastic league of its kind, the HSEL fall season introduces new changes, emphasizing student success.
The fall season features four new additions to our roster of games, three levels of competition, and more prizing than ever before.
NEW EVENTS
This fall, we've divided the competitions into three distinct events uniquely tailored for every student.
Training Grounds: Low stakes play for new and developing students.
Major: Casual and competitive play featuring all HSEL games.
Premier: Highly competitive play for the best schools in the biggest esports with a direct path to HSEL Nationals.
NEW ADDITIONS
This fall, the Super Smash Bros.™ Ultimate, Mario Kart™ 8 Deluxe, and Splatoon™ 3 games will formally join our competitive offerings for high schools this fall season.
These additions to our ever-expanding library of titles elevate the possibilities for students to learn and compete in environments dedicated to providing constructive, family-friendly gaming events to help build positive gaming communities within the scholastic environment.
